Core FTP Pro can help you transfer data between your computer and FTP servers in a secure way, which comes in particularly handy when you need to update the contents of a remote website. The product is intuitive so you do not need to be an expert to use. However, I do recommend reading the documentation to get the most of its features.

The program looks quite the same to other FTP clients available, which, in turn, also look very similar to standard file managers. In this respect, the tool is characterized by having two panels that allow opening two different locations simultaneously. Consequently, transferring files and folders from one location to the other is just as easy as dragging and dropping them as you desire. Yet, I think that the design feels somewhat outdated.

There are many FTP clients out there, but the convenience of using one or the other comes mostly from their support of fast and reliable connections. Thus, it is good to hear that Core FTP Pro can actually speed up data transfers by using multiple simultaneous threads. Likewise, it can compress and decompress files on the fly, which reduces the amount of data to actually transfer, and consequently decreases the necessary time. As to security, the client uses powerful transfer protocols, such as FTP, AUTH SSL, AUTH TLS, FTPS - SSL DIRECT, HTTP, HTTPS and SSH/FTP, most of them contributing to the preservation of your data. In addition, your files are moved using P2P encryption. Similarly, it can automatically re-establish a connection after it has been lost. more
